Emergency Medical Services
Safety First Vailsburg Rescue Squad is considered a leader in Emergency Medical Services in the region. Whatever your emergency may be, you can count on the Safety First team to arrive quickly.
Safety First Motorcycle Medics are available at rides to provide volunteer Emergency Medical assistance or advice as needed.
The Vailsburg Rescue Squad has two first response vehicles, which respond to medical emergencies primarily within the West Ward of Newark, also known as the Vailsburg/Ivy Hill section. We also respond to the other wards of Newark and throughout Essex County through regional mutual aid agreements.
Safety First Medical staff and medical services are available for your event or workplace.

We also offer Mountain Bike and Motorcycle Teams - Our Mountain Bikes and Motorcycles are equipped to handle any type of emergency and provide a rapid response though congested areas.
Watercraft Medics and Rescue Divers are also available.
