Baby Proof - As a parent you already know that the most important thing in the world is protecting your baby; therefore, you should create a safe environment for your baby. One of the best ways to create a safe environment for your baby is to establish a home that is safe for exploration and curiosity, which can be done by baby proofing your home.
CPR & First Aid Training - Safety First offers CPR & First Aid Programs designed to teach participants to respond confidently to any cardiac, respiratory or choking emergency until professional help arrives.
School Life Safety trains school administration to be aware of the issues and the proper response to an emergency.
STAT is designed for groups that require basic knowledge in responding to emergencies and not certification in CPR & First Aid. STAT can be used to assess the need of a future program. STAT is a program that shows people how to cope with basic emergencies. It includes basic topics and is presented in a simple format designed for all audiences. In all of our courses, we train people to use their brains as well as their hands. And we train them to improvise with whatever they have or can find at the scene. In STAT participants are shown how to respond to a wide range of emergencies.
Vial of Life
The Vial of Life is a program for senior citizens designed to make medical history & information readily available to squad members or other emergency personnel who may respond to the patient's home. The vial is a small plastic container that holds a sheet with easy to read medical information, such as your name, medical history, any known allergies, present medications, blood type, and an emergency contact person. In addition, the form has a place for alerting medical personnel about DNR orders or living wills and where those documents are located. The kit includes a magnet to be placed on the refrigerator where the vial is kept. When emergency responders see the magnet, they will know where to find your life-saving medical information.
